Williams at the New Jersey Historical Commission’s 2009 Annual Conference, “New Jersey and the Bill of Rights,” held on November 21st in Trenton, New Jersey. The quote in the title comes from Article I, Paragraph 6 of the 1844 New Jersey Constitution.
