Abstract

Cowen tells the tale of of the life of George Bushe (1799-1837) and his career at the short-lived "Rutgers Medical College" that was located in New York.  The college's affiliation with Rutgers only lasted from 1828 to 1830.  Bushe was a Professor of Anatomy and Physiology at the college.
