Freneau's Satire of Rutgers

Marsh discusses and reprints a tale Philip Freneau wrote for the Philadelphia "Aurora" in 1815. It is a satire on Rutgers about the awarding of medical degrees to "students" from New York, where presumably they were unable to obtain a degree.
